Coffee ok. Staff member who just served us our two takeaway coffees was extremely rude. Would rather give someone else our custom.
The Coffee is the best in Ennis, the staff are very polite, the decor is cosy which makes it a great place to catch up with friends
Stuffed to the gills after a fantastic breakfast. The premises looks fantastic, very well decorated, the staff were very nice and delivered good service and the food was excellent!
We discovered this really nice Cafe a couple of weeks ago. It is part of the Queens hotel building, really excellent coffee and on the three visits that we have been there no issues with getting a table. Good standard of hygiene and toilets well...maintained. Food is pretty good and is well pricing. So would I recommend yes but In these times where the tourism industry is looking for support, you need to talk to some of your staff about their attitude. Some really excellent staff there but on our most recent visit where we turned up just after 8am on a Sunday having checked that that this was the opening time only to be advised that it was 8.30. Eventually we came back just before the opening time and while given a table were not made to feel very welcome and the service continued in that vein. This attitude which i would best describe as sharp was in evidence with other customers as well and I also noted it on my previous visits. So please just address it you have a good product but sort out the attitude and make people feel more welcome.More
Nice atmosphere too. Not overly impressed with the food, for the price, but I love that Drury coffee. Looking forward to visiting again (when its safe)!
Staff kind and professional. Coffee and Lunch super. Not rush to leave. Great Atmosphere . Hidden Treasure.
I had breakfast and coffee here and it was absolutely delicious! The ambiance was really unique too. Definitely recommend.
It was a cold October evening and I had been at mass in the friary so decided to pop in for a quick cuppa to warm up. I just love this cafe and often hop in here when in town shopping. The young waitress on...this occasion was SO RUDE. I had just ordered my tea from her and was told firmly and loudly “you know we close at 9”. Obviously not a happy camper in her job!!! It was only 8.10 and it wasn’t going to take long to drink a cup of tea and eat a small bun!! This is not normally my experience here so I was surprised and a bit disappointed. However, I will be back!More
Just when I thought that I had found a good breakfast restaurant in Ennis, the staff totally ruined that impression. After selecting a table we sat waiting while the staff stood chatting at the counter, this was followed by a light argument between the staff...all while we were left waiting. Eventually I went to the counter where I was dismissed with advice that there was NO TABLE SERVICE (you may ask why the big staff if there is no service). It would have been nice if one of the staff had the courtesy to tell us this when we sat down. I should mention that this was our 3rd visit and we were served on the first 2 visits. After ordering, the breakfast served was very underwhelming. Especially at the price. The poached eggs were hard and the garnishing on the plate was not fresh. This restaurant has a premium menu, serves a below average quality breakfast and charges premium prices. This coupled with the lack of service makes it a big disappointment. The only hope that I have is that this may have been a minor hiccup due to some staff 'upset' that should not have happened in full view of the clients. If ever I am desperate enough to visit again and find that there has been a bit of a shake-up, I will be happy to write a better review.More
