Really excellent dinner here. Great five course tasting menu, paired wine was excellent. Staff were very good. All round one of the best dining experiences in the area.

I visited here my wife for lunch. We both had the steak, which we both agreed was absolutely delicious. This was accompanied with chips with the skin on & salad & garnish, again delicious. For dessert we both had lemon/lime, oats in a caramel coating, & rhubarb cheesecake, superb. Accompanied with coffee's. We also had a glass of prosecco, which... More

Can't here on a voucher lunch which included 2 fillet steaks and 2 glasses of prosseco. We were warmly greeted by the staff and shown to our table. Ordered a smoked fish risotto starter which was very good. The fillet mains were very good with the home cut chips and sauce. We ended with a deconstructed cheesecake which was delicious... More

Menu is creative using seasonal produce,I had red mullet as first course, nice sized portion and perfectly prepared followed by venison and salted caramel tart for dessert. Food quality was excellent and service friendly but unobtrusive. Had a really nice evening and fairly priced for the quality of food. Having spent a few years in the restaurant trade myself I... We had the six course tasting menu with the house flight of wines to go with it. Each course was delicious and served at comfortable pace. The wines and the dishes were explained when served and the wines complimented the food beautifully. The staff were so friendly and attentive and they have created a wonderful atmosphere for a lovely meal.... More

Ingredients - two couples; friends for almost 40 years; their children grown up and flown but like one family; a special occasion; an intimate restaurant enjoying an excellent and well merited local reputation; a warm and professional reception; attentive yet unobtrusive staff; locally sourced food; expertly prepared; each subtle taste complimenting its partners. We sat at our table about 7.30pm... More

Went with hubby and used an Itison voucher we were gifted. Our voucher was for a 5 course taster menu. We were greeted very warmly, quickly seated and offered drinks. The menu was set, we knew it would be. On first viewing it neither hubby nor I thought very much of it. However when each dish arrived it looked and... More

Everything about our meal was beautiful from start to finish. The homemade butter that accompanied the delicious bread told us immediately that we were in for a treat. I had pea soup with smoked salmon to start, the soup was perfectly smooth and lovely. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection and though the accompaniments were fairly usual steak sides,... More

Description
Perths 63 Tay Street is regularly billed as one of Scotlands top restaurants. Set in a typical imposing grey stone building, the small but perfectly formed dining room is pure elegance from soaring ceilings to polished wood floors. The menu is made up of British classics given a contemporary twist, so youll find your Aberdeen Angus served with an oxtail sauce and your Inverurie lamb rack, neck and shank may be served with traditional neeps, but youll also find chorizo mash on your plate. The use of fresh, local ingredients and fine produce sourced from further afield means that every dish promises to delight those tastebuds.
