Very fresh and good portion. Very tasty and welcome on a cold October evening in the magnificent Highlands. Reasonable pricing. Very clean

Well worth the trip from near or far. The best fish supper in Ross-Shire. & excellent home made tartar sauce.

Disappointed with quality of food. Haven't been for a while it's certainly become expensive. For a quid more you can eat better at the station. Putting lemon in the box won't make it taste any better.

First time I have visited in a long time, noticed a polystyrene cup behind the counter with pens in it, on the cup is written along the lines of “do not use pens to pick your ears”!!!!! Very off putting! Also I Am told that...a guy in there puts his finger in the curry sauce to see if it’s hot enough!!!! This is terrible and in a small town like Alness word will get about.More

Chips looked and tasted awful, they were cold and dried out gone downhill from the last time I had a carry out. Seems they cook too much at once!

Have been here a few times for Fish and Chips and it can be a hit or a miss. The last time we went the chips were actually very nice but previously they have been like cardboard texture. I feel the menu is quite pricey...compared to other Fish and Chip shops in the area.More

My greeting was " what are ya after " ? I got fish and chips, the fish wasn't too bad but the chips were half raw . A few weeks later we went in to the restaurant for a steak . My wife managed to...eat hers , but mine was that tough that I couldn't eat it . Not being the complaining type , as I may just have been unfortunate I was not going to complain . When I went to pay the owner/manager asked me if everything was okay . I told him about my steak and he replied " well ! we get them from the butcher " Not interested in excuses !More

I quite often visit this establishment. Sometimes it can be excellent with good service and to a very high standard however on a number of different occasions the food isn't so good and can be not good. If the establishment would be consistent I would...go here very regularly.More
