We just had a drink in here on a wet cold January day. The lady behind the bar was very polite and friendly despite being poorly. There is a welcoming log burning fire. Will definitely visit again.

Really good meals in the restaurant upstairs, large portions, comfy clean seating, table service. If you're lucky you'll get a view of the water too. Friendly staff quick to clear tables for customers waiting on the stairs.
