lovely food and nice staff. sadly my preference is for quiet seating but zizzi seem to go for the whole "social eating" which ends up with you sitting elbow to elbow with strangers earwigging conversations when the place is busy.... overall it not my scene...More

Italian-alike fusion restaurant, with a Scottish finishing touch. Although it was a bit busy, personnel took the time for a chat and serviced fast with good quality food.

We went in quite late mid-week after most places had shut and were served by a really friendly guy from Chichester. Great food, super helpful and brilliant service. Pop in if you need some quick food!

On the positive side, Zizzi’s is in a great location overlooking the river, serves food all day and has a wide range to choose from on the menu. Prices are pretty reasonable and the service was friendly. We had a really tasty Rustica Pollo Rossi...More

At Zizzi we like to do things a little differently. We don’t do over-complicated recipes or scrimpy portion sizes. We’re all about the well-chosen ingredients, simply put together to make exceptional Italian food.Zizzi Inverness is truly one of the most stunning restaurants we have. One elevation is all glazed floor to ceiling - giving diners a truly amazing view of the river. Four local themes have been the inspiration behind the design of the new restaurant: the historic River Ness, boats, whisky distilleries and the Highlands. A large wooden ceiling raft that is splintered at one end to replicate old boats, light fittings that look like buoys and a rope and pulley feature in the window. The contour lines of the Highlands and Lowlands are detailed through Ordnance Survey maps on the ceiling, whilst copper pipes throughout the restaurant give a nod to the famous distilleries.Dine al fresco with an outdoor dining area for sunny weather.
