Cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Everything we had was cooked perfectly, and the staff were outstanding. Would highly recommend the crepe, lamb main and always consider the specials! Scallop and croquettes for starters were also amazing. Overall one of the best meals I’ve ever had...in Inverness.More
Sue and I enjoyed an excellent “pots to go” New Year Sunday Lunch today. Sue had pâté followed by tempura haddock and I had potato, leek, rosemary & white truffle soup and roast sirloin of Angus beef and we shared a cheese board. Everything was...cooked beautifully and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We’ll be back!More
This is the second time I have eaten here and the food and service is still as excellent as the first time, if I didn't live so far away (Eriskay the Outer Hebrides) I would be eating here all of the time.
First visit to Cafe 1 and we were not disappointed, both the staff and food were excellent.
We enjoyed beautiful Pork Belly as a starter which I followed with Posh fish & chips (monkfish with black pudding & pea purée), my partner had the lamb...which was cooked to perfection.
For afters we enjoyed the dessert of Passion Fruit Cheesecake served with a shot of Prosecco and a Espresso mocha Martini🍸
A big shout out the chef’s and the staff for making our evening so enjoyable.
We will be back the very next time we are in Inverness, we cannot recommend this establishment any higher.More
It’s been awhile since I’ve had a chance to visit Cafe 1 with everything going on right now but I wasn’t disappointed!
This place continues to put out absolutely fantastic food regardless!
Staff are friendly and great craic.... COVID19 procedures where adhered to at all...times but the staff managed to make for as a relaxed atmosphere as was possible.
Throughly enjoyed my lunch thank you! 👏🏼👏🏼More
Up in Inverness on a four day break. First ever visit to No:1 - it's certainly well named for sure! Cheery welcome for a start set the scene for a super evening. Complimentary water and bread & oils . My wife and I started with...tasty cocktails, then shared a most delicious chicken liver pate. My main course of home grown venison was incredibly mouthwatering and my wife's posh fish and chips was so tasty. Our after dinner cocktails were super. My cherry Bakewell defied belief and my wife's coffee liqueur was the best she'd had for a long time. The girls were so efficient and friendly. And presumably the owner it was who came round to ask how everything was.
Absolutely faultless, thoroughly enjoyed our first visit - top marks all round, it all had a lovely atmosphere as well. Highly recommended from us, that's a fact.👌More
Traveling from Lanarkshire to meet family read the reviews and decided to book arrived at restaurant and noticed right away how well run this establishment is during these difficult times. The starters of king prawns tempura and scallops were delicious. The fillet steaks were cooked...perfectly and the posh fish and chips was certainly a good choice. I can’t wait to return keep up the good work guys 10 out of 10More
