Arrived within 20 minutes of making a call for a reservation. Greeted by a lovely waitress and was allowed to choose a table because they were fairly quiet. My wife and I dined here on a Saturday evening during a short sight-seeing trip to Caithness. We were welcomed and offered a choice of tables, although the restaurant was fairly busy. Great atmosphere and lovely smells of the food on offer. The staff accommodated our request to share a starter, and our mains - both fish dishes were excellent.... More

We have been a few times over last few years and the quality of the food is always consistent. Potatoes Boulanger or dauphinoise-Amazing. Meat / fish well sourced as always good quality and perfectly cooked. We never need to add any extra seasoning since everything is so tasty already. Service as always friendly and just right. Can recommend

Visited here while on holiday. Had a lovely dish of lemon sole fillets and a delicious creme brûlée for dessert. Chef came round the tables and spoke to all his customers which was a nice touch. Not many chefs do this

Great food, great service. Chef comes to greet all guests and has a chat. Little bit of that personal touch. Great atmosphere and overall amazing experience. Highly recommended

We had a night for dinner drinks booked, delicious sirloin steak with red wine & shallot sauce, house wines are great. Menu doesn't change a lot but I always find something I like. Would recommend

Lovely little restaurant. Great menu, wonderful opportunity to try snails and frogs legs again after many many years. Slightly lacking in atmosphere, might have preferred to eat in the front but really enjoyed the evening!

Wow, such wonderful French cuisine. A lovely menu to tease the tastebuds, all cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this place for a lovely lunch or a special occasion.
