The restaurant is ornate Italian opposed to rustic. Therefore the prices are also pro rata. The food was tasty and plentiful and just sufficient time between courses. The menu was a little pricey unless you had the evening special. Like wise the wine list (although a good variety) was also pricey. But if you arent on a budget and wantva... More

Although busy, the staff were very attentive and helpful. We had a very enjoyable dining experience and thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Nestling on the busy Argyle Street and not far from Central station is Piccolo Mondo. They don't really need to advertise. This is an Institution and word passes by word of mouth about it. Have been here many times and always found the service, food and restaurant to be excellent value. Particularly in the Pre Theatre or one of the... More

I visited this place whilst looking for that "something special" for a meal on my own whilst away with business. I entered and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant albeit somewhat dated. Lots of staff and they were very attentive. The food though was not good. I had a prawn cocktail which the sauce was straight out of a jar!... More

Hi, I’m very disappointed with the feedback you have given. We take great pride in the quality of our food, especially our authentic Italian dishes on the menu. I understand that sometimes a certain dish might not be to every customers tastes, but the two dishes you selected are two of our most popular and loved. In relation to the... More

Visited again for dinner on New Years eve. Its a special festive set menu with plenty to choose from. Service was excellent and very cheery. Considering the time of our booking,7.30pm I thought we might be a bit rushed, we weren't. In fact quite the opposite . I would totally recommend this restaurant for dinner. Food great, décor great and... More

We were spending Hogmanay in Glasgow and were looking for an Italian restaurant close to our hotel and after searching Tripadvisor this place was close by and had great reviews and we were not disappointed! Everything from the food, the staff and the atmosphere was fantastic. We opted for the celebration dinner which included a welcome drink, good selection of... More

Had lovely lunch there with friends this week. Good food and good value. However - staff not the most friendly and as soon as we had our food it was a case of 'here's your hat, what's your hurry'.

Big fan of this restaurant. One of the best Italian restaurants around in my opinion. Recommended it to friends and family who have all enjoyed it. Special shout out to the lovely basket of warm bread for each table

Our mum very generously invited the whole family out for a meal to this restaurant she had visited previously with her friends. All 17 of us (including the extra person they had to cater for at the last minute) had a fantastic meal from the festive menu. Staff were so lovely too. I would highly recommend this as a place...
