I visited the Wee Curry shop when up in Glasgow on business. Located at the city end of Buccleugh St I had not visited before, despite numerous recommendations, as it is on the fringe of the central restaurant area. I booked a table as the restaurant is called The Wee Curry Shop for a reason as it gets very busy... More

If you are looking for a classy atmosphere, I wouldn't bother going here, but it's five minutes walk from our office and the food is great and the staff are courteous and welcoming. For a quick Indian lunch, it's perfect.

My sister and I came through to try this Indian after being recommended to by a friend. From first entering the restaurant we were greeted my smiling staff who didn't wince at my bandaged up face (I broke my nose recently). The service was impeccable, with Maggie being incredibly friendly and knowledgable on the food. I couldn't recommend this place... More

This place was recommended to me and we tried it one night after work. We expected "wee" but perhaps not as small as this. The food though was brilliant and the service very good. Haggis pakoras are a must, and the garlic chilli chicken was sublime - the real Indian deal at a great price. The only minus point was... More

Came here with my wife and it was amazing! We had the butter chicken and lamb patina and split both and they were awesome! We also had one side of rice and one garlic naan. Everything was plenty without feeling overstuffed. Wonderful!

The food was absolutely superb all freshly cooked and service was first class. 4 of us had 3 different main courses , which was all prepared and presented at the same time. This included 2 butter chicken which although was not on the menu was made for us no problem and was delicious.

It was small with no atmosphere. Clothes end up with lots of smell. Food is good though but nothing too fancy. Cold draught in the restaurant each time customer open the door.

Decent curry house, very quiet and only one in there. Open kitchen adjacent to bar, but leave with clothes smelling of curry. Friendly, solid food, kingfisher on tap, lovely quaint, not easy to find

I thought it was called this because the restaurant was so small . But on delivery of my curry I realised I was wrong. The food was nice but I had 2 courses costing Twenty puns and left still hungry. Had to hit the snacks when I got home. So if your a big chap or got a decent appetite... More
