I met my husband for a quick bite after work. 2 pizzas and 2 pints of St Mungo. The pizzas were excellent, a thin crispy base plus plenty of topping. The range wasn't massive, but plenty to choose from. The staff were pleasant and unobtrusive and service was pleasingly brisk. Always a bonus at the end of the week when... More

My 14 year old son is coeliac and loves eating out. This usually means he gets stuck to the same kind of dishes all the time, but here he got to eat really, really good and tasty food and have dessert that wasn't ice cream or a brownie. He's still raving about it. The food was gorgeous for us non... More

Worst experience I had in Glasgow so far. My friends and I were sharing a pizza and appetizer. Waitress commented that one pizza was too little for 3 persons! Which is really rude I believe ! We ordered 2. They did not taste good and they were almost burned. The only thing that tasted good was the Buttered Potato (appetizer)... More

The food was good - I had some ginger and butternut soup and I really enjoyed it. It's quite cozy and trendy inside and a great place to duck into on a chilly night. The staff didn't seem super thrilled that we were in a larger group (8+) so I would recommend somewhere else if there's a lot of you.

I came here with my mum who has coeliac disease. She had a lovely big salad which she enjoyed and i had a really good pizza. I would certainly come back again!

Great atmosphere but the pizza lacked any flavour, and the pasta options were limited. Staff were attentive though.

It was a bitterly cold March night. We had to stand in a queue for a taxi from Central station to Firebird and we were looking forward to a lovely warm restuarant to enjoy our meal before heading to a concert. We ate with our coats on. Vegetarian menu...fine and chicken wings available for those who must have meat. So... More

Met up with a friend who visits here often.. it was lovely, very welcoming with the real fire, very mixed age group and dog friendly. Food was lovely, I had duck, cooked to perfection, my friend had pasta which she said was delicious, the pizzas coming out looked lovely. Only had soft drinks as a school night, but they had... Been to Firebird quite a few times now and can honestly say I have no complaints. From dinner dates to a wee lunch with a pal, I've always come away feeling satisfied! Awesome food and beer, nicely priced and a sweet looking place to boot.

We made a 7pm reservation for 4.No need for reservations that early. When we left at 9, the place was packed. the service dropped off once it got busy, as you could expect. We had 2 gluten free (GF) in our party, and although they cater to the GF diet ... we had some issues. The 2 people that ordered... More
