Place was very busy but service was very efficient. Food very delicious. Had some mussels and the sea bass. Both quite tasty although I have had better mussels before. Will try their different variations next time. Overall, a fantastic seafood place. I hope their Edinburgh place is as good!

I love this restaurant. I've been a number of times now and it never disappoints. The lunch and pre theatre menus are excellent value for money! I normally have mussels, which are always great but on my most recent visit I had the smoked salmon spring rolls and fish and chips. Both courses were delicious! Everything is always very fresh.... I was in Glasgow for a business trip and wanted to try a local seafood restaurant. I had prawns to start and the chef accommodated my tastes by omitting the chilli that was specified on the menu. I had 1/2kg of Mussels in shallot sauce which was divine- perfectly cooked and served with fresh bread and butter. The only thing... More

Visited here on the 18th of March for a birthday meal. On arriving we were shown to our table and told specials are on the board. This was unreadable even with my glasses on!!!!!! I would have to had stood directly under it to read it ,where other diners were eating. We decided not to bother with the specials. The... More

Went here with my parents when they were visiting for the weekend. We all had starter and mains and all of it was delicious. The mussels are especially good, as you would expect. The wine is also good here. Service is friendly and fast and overall price of the meal was very reasonable. I went back for a weekday evening... More

We ate here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and had a great lunch. The small lunch menu is just perfect for a lite lunch , with mussels, bread, chips and a wine, beer or soft drink at a great price. Also accommodated for my six year old and left the wine out the mussels. Daughter loved it and said it's her... More

Description
The Mussel Inn is one of Glasgow’s première restaurants. Despite the name, our restaurant offers a much wider variety of food than just Scottish West Coast mussels served with our unique and delicious range of sauces. Our seafood dishes also include Creamy Seafood Chowder, Grilled King Scallops and Queen Scallops, Scottish oysters, and our amazing seafood platter (Mini Seafood Platter also available).
