I haven't known any other chippies to do a gluten free haggis, tried one from here and it was fantastic. Chips were perfect plus the gluten free onion rings were good too. I've had gf pizza, sausage and fish from here in the past and...enjoyed it all. Had the homemade tartar sauce, I liked it but it wasn't tangy enough for me. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a gluten free chippy. Phoned order to collect and was ready to pick up when arrived.More

Got very overpriced pepperoni pizza last night with very little on it for over £8 and almost an hour to wait!!!!!!!!

For a couple of years now this has been our fish & chip shop of choice. Our return visits are due to the fact that there is a consistency to the quality that you get in both the fish & the chips. Other such establishments...in the area can be very variable. Keep up the good work.More

Great fish and chip shop. Reasonably priced, big selection, fast service, fantastic fish and chips. Large fish supper and single fish between two of us was almost more than enough. Both the fish and chips were cooked fresh as we waited (less than 10 minutes),...the batter was light and crispy, chips as they should be. This family run establishment has been operating for what seems like decades, always good value/good food. The place is bright clean and the staff are very efficient.More

Visited Buon Appetito tonight Tuesday August 20th. I say visited, but in actual fact sent in my relative to order what I thought would be a simple order at a quiet time of the evening. I said "Get me a spicy chicken pizza" as he...got up to leave the car. As it turns out, my relative ordered a ham pizza & a spicy chicken pizza.  pon getting home he passed my pizza box. I said "Are you sure that's mine & not yours" as it didn't look like a spicy chicken pizza. We checked the other pizza (his ironically) & it was definitely ham. My spicy chicken pizza as it turned out was in actual fact a margherita pizza (Cheese & tomato) with tiny cubes of plain boiled tasteless chicken pieces on it. The kind of chicken pieces that you would normally find in things like tins of cat food. My dinner was absolutely ruined although my relatives dinner was absolutely fine as he got what he ordered. Now I don't mind the odd mistake & realise that mistakes can & do happen. For me, with Buon Appetito it's a continual let down, from not having the toppings that you want on your pizza or that there's not enough tomato puree on the base or whatever. I'd rather have been told look we don't have any spicy chicken than be given plain boiled chicken on a pizza. I find Buon Appetito very inconsistent & despite clear instructions upon ordering paying customers still getting served the wrong items. So my spicy chicken pizza was a cheese & tomato pizza with boiled tasteless chicken pieces on it. Buon Appetito call this a Pollo pizza (Chicken) & it's not as if Buon Appetito's pizzas are cheap. What Buon Appetito should have served me was a Pollo Picante (Spicy Chicken) pizza which was what I ordered.  As it turned out my relative was charged the grand total of £12.70. A Prosciutto (Ham) pizza at £6.20 & a Pollo Picante (Spicy Chicken) pizza at £6.50 which I never got meaning Buon Appetito overcharged me by the grand total of 50p. Staff really need to pay more attention with regards their customer base. There is plenty of other local takeaway establishments where a customer can spend their money if Buon Appetito aren't getting orders correct & are overcharging.More

The Meat tasted nice but the bun was burned and I only saw that when I got home. Overall seems like a good place for food but a burned bun is unacceptable :(
