I had an amazing chocolate cake and hot chocolate to drink. Unfortunately in the rush to eat it I didn’t photograph but it was exceptionally dark, tasty, and very much top of the range. A smooth chocolate filling and just the right amount of chocolate,...More

Came here for lunch on a chilly April day. Situated down a set of basement steps this is a lovely large quirky restaurant. Great range of food and bakes, reasonably priced. Had to wait 20 minutes for a table but there was a comfy area...More

The food was good, nothing special. We were looking for something a bit more standard and so the menu was a bit adventurous for us. The place had a nice atmosphere but it was extremely busy and so we had to sit squished on a...More

Singl-end re-opened its doors as a café and bakehouse in October 2015. It offers a fantastic selection of clean eating food, much of which is vegan an/or gluten free. From breakfast through to early dinner the menu has a host of dishes to suit all. Popular dishes include spicy baked eggs - eggs oven baked in a casserole of homemade pork and fennel sausage, cannellini beans, tomato and chili and Singl-end's Eggs Benedict - poached eggs sat on top of a tower of sweet potato, spinach and red onion topped with a cashew and tarragon 'hollandaise'. Choose your bread from our range of home-made breads to accompany your meal. All cakes, pastries and breads baked in-house.
