I was at Broadcast last night to see American rockers, Left Lane Cruiser, and must say I got a totally wrong impression beforehand by reading comments on here. If you don`t care for a place, you have the right to move on, without making derogatory...More

The venue downstairs is OK but by God the bar upstairs is heinous. Worst bathrooms in existence and the staff permanently look like they've just been attacked by vampires (not as part of their get-up) - no energy, blasé, impolite. The manager might want to...More

I'm a regular and local at this venue and I attempted to accompany my friend there on their birthday. Alas I was left sitting outside in the rain while my friends enjoyed their night because, according to a bouncer who has verified my ID 20+...More

Hi there, In order to see what happened here, which seems out of character with our usual policy, could you tell me what date it happened on and a description of the steward?

I went to see a DJ set downstairs in the venue. The sound was terrible, the speakers kept cracking like it was being pushed too high, but the music wasn't actually that loud. You could see the artist was incredibly frustrated. Please invest in a...More

Nice venue, decent beer, menu looks nice - but the staff! They seemingly believe working behind a bar can be a good substitute for a personality. Rude and arrogant, but arrogance without actually being any good at their jobs. Total posers. One guy kept turning...More

First of all I'd just like to say there is definitely friendly bar staff her. But when I asked the bar lady for a white russan with soy milk I was given an utterly filthy look and felt I was treated with contempt for the...More

Went with my husband and ordered food and a few drinks. The food was rather bland though for the price seemed fine and drinks were very goos prices. The whole place was grimy though and my husband said the mens toilets were particularly disgusting and...More

Attended a "High Valley" concert in Broadcast and while the concert was brilliant, the venue wasn't so great, primarily because of the very low roof in the concert venue that meant the guys in the band had to duck under a low beam as they...More

Hi, Thanks for taking the time to review Broadcast and glad you enjoyed the gig. We always listen to our customers and since you're visit we have installed more LED lighting in the basement venue across the bench seats and around the bar area. Next...More

Description
Broadcast; Venue / Kitchen / Bar from the good people behind Captain's Rest and Sneaky Pete's. Our food takes a more healthy approach, focusing heavily on the vegetarians & vegans, dishes take on simple ideas with big flavours. Middle Eastern flavours are predominant; pulses, seeds, oddball dressings, breads all get a look in. Meat lovers, however, are not forgotten. Well sourced meat & fish are also on the weekly changing menu. You can still also pop in for a killer burger!
