Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed in Hyndland for five days and had brunch here twice, that’s how much we liked it. A good selection including vegetarian and vegan options, extremely friendly service. What’s not to like?

My friends were traveling on the train from Helensburgh, so didn’t want to walk far . I called Hyndland Cafe in the morning to arrange afternoon T for 3 It was short notice but they fitted us in . Sandwiches were so fresh and large...… cakes good too . No scones with jam or cream as it was short notice but unlimited tea and coffee and no rush to leave so the price of £20 per head was spot on because of this . Owner and staff very helpful and friendly as it is a family run business .More

Ordered a roll and scone with egg, when it arrived the egg was still clear and gooey very clearly undercooked and to top it off the egg had a black hair on it, wont be going back sorely dissatisfied

We were treated to a lovely friendly welcome when we visited with our Godson today. The staff couldn't have been any nicer and took great care of us. We loved the banter. The food was excellent, compliments to the chef. The waitress singing was a...bonus even if she apologised for it. We will definitely be back whenever we are in Glasgow again. Well worth a visit ! Thankyou, it was all much appreciated xMore

Great little cafe. We had the black Benedict and the Florentine. Fast service, with a smile. I recommend adding some potato scone to whatever you order, they’re delicious. Would definitely go again.

Amazing, friendly, staff and service, paid roadside parking available … very clean, food great! Dark hot chocolate to die for and got a free top up as they didn’t want to waste what was left in the jug … fabulous idea!! Will be back 😁

I ordered an Afternoon Tea for my parents to celebrate their Wedding Anniversary. I dealt with Kim, who was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to make it extra special. The food was fabulous. There was a lovely selection of sandwiches on all...sorts of bread and the home made sweet treats looked amazing! My mum and dad thoroughly enjoyed it all. I would highly recommend Hyndland cafe and will definitely be ordering from them again.More

Ordered afternoon tea for 3 over the Easter Weekend. Kim was very helpful and checked about dietary requirements before hand. We ordered Prosecco as an extra and it went down very well. The food was excellent - a variety of sandwiches on different breads icluding...wraps and bagels. The home baking was all delicious and icluded mini empire biscuits! I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea!More

Hi thanks for asking. We don’t take reservations as we’re only small. Our afternoon tea/Tiny Tea is pre-bookable though. Hope to see you soon.
