Just had lunch in 279 Cafe Bistro which is a little gem. Staff were friendly and helpful and service good. Lunch was freshly cooked and presented well and was delicious. Would certainly go back when I am next in that area. To be recommended.

Yet another great evening spent at 279. Everything delivered to usual high standard....food, service, ambiance...all just spot on. 279 is a calm, special, understated restaurant. Perfect place for enjoying chance to catch up with friends...over some seriously good food.

Nipped in with my wife and had a magic wee bowl of spiced sweet potato soup. Certainly put the heat back in the bones after a walk along Dumbarton Road. Friendly welcome and one for the "I'll be back" to sample the menu in more...More

What a tasty meal! Food was lovely and fresh. Service was excellent. Great value. Location so accessible if you are not driving as train, bus and underground are right on the door step. Without a doubt I will be heading back soon.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. Absolutely flawless experience from start to finish. Food was unbelievably good, wine was great and the service was faultless. Reasonably priced too. One of the nicest meals I have ever had in this area!

We do not have a specific vegetarian menu , but we always have options on our menu and all of our dishes are made and cooked on the premises which allows us to change dishes to suit our customers needs

Hi I know they change the menu quite often, the only suggestion that I can think of is to contact them via Facebook. I hope you manage to visit the cafe/restaurant.

Established in 2008, 279 Cafe Bistro is a family owned and managed bistro in Glasgow's west end just a short walk from Partick train station situated between Partick and Kelvin Hall subway stations. We serve fresh, cooked to order food from our small but very capable kitchen. Our menus have changed slightly over the years to keep things interesting but the quality of food and personal service has always remained the same. Recently our Bistro has taken on a more casual dining style and our openning hours and menus have changed to meet local demands. We open from 10am until 4pm from Monday to Thursday and from 10am until 10pm on Friday and Saturday.During the day we offer brunch, small dishes, pastas, burgers & ciabattas aswell as great coffee and treats. Then on a Friday & Saturday evenning we offer a fixed price menu which changes from week to week
