Superb, authentic food, efficient service. What more can you ask for? Absolutely worth a visit - and would suit families as well as friends, couples etc.

Just back from a meal in Chinatown. This is a regular for us, usually the buffet, which is fantastic value, but we were early tonight so ate a la carte. Hot n Sour soup for me, which is a favourite of mine, its always good here. Hubby had Seafood n Sweetcorn soup, a favourite of his. We then shared Stuffed... More

We have been patrons of this great restaurant for many years now and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food. We always eat here on Christmas day because the food is so good, the dim sum in particular being very fine, and the prices are the same price as the rest of the year. Before we chose... More

Having tried the Dimsum at SeeWoo, we decided to try out this one. The restaurant looks clean and nice, more fancy than you would expect when looking at its surroundings. The dimsum was nice but we had to wait quite awhile to get it and this was lunch on a Wednesday. Service was ok. One thing that I wasn't expected... More

Having never been to an genuine Chinese Restaurant, this was a great first! The food was really good. Lots of starters between 4 of us then our mains which were all fantastic. Whole duck, sea bass and beef in black bean sauce. The staff were lovely, very patient with us as we were all unsure what to order. We'll be... More

We went on Friday night, we both saw this restaurant on google and thought we would give it a go for our trip up to Scotland. The taxi took us to the restaurant which first impressions we thought it was a bit out of the way, walking into the seating area we were sat next to the beautiful marine fish... More

I visited this place this evening, dining alone, and after reading the reviews I wasn't expecting too much. I was greeted by what can only be described as a surely individual, Chinese, and a bit blunt maybe it was a language understanding issue. The food was ok, nothing special just ok. The rest of the staff were fine polite and... More

I regularly stop off on a Saturday lunchtime for Dim Sum, with my daughter. Restaurant reminds me of a ''functional'' Beijing restaurant, but the Dim Sum and Singapore noodles we regularly have never fail to disappoint. Service certainly not over friendly (!!!), but it is efficient and fast........ which works for us........

Been going to this place for over 10 years after I toured Asia and visited Hong Kong a few times. Dining at ChinaTown is a authentic Cantonese dining experience. You can tell as it is filled with Chinese customers on most days. Here you will find proper Hong Kong style Cantonese dishes, stir fries and fresh hand made dim sum.... More
