Hadn't been here for a while but went tonight for my husband's belated birthday meal. There were four of us and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. The pakora in particular was brilliant. Portions were large and good value for many. The service was very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. The restaurant is lovely and cosy. Well... More

Five of us went to the Agra without a booking. They gave us a table, having moved seats around, even though the restaurant was not busy, nor did it get busy whilst we were there. Starters arrived quite quickly although staff had to be reminded of a missing starter, which arrived along with the main meal. Service was quite slow... More

Amazing place, have been visiting regularly for a few months now, staff are welcoming and friendly and decor is great with old Indian pictures and photos on the wall. Food is outstanding whether sitting in or having a take away, great value for money too.

We used to dine here years ago with my Mum and Dad. Recalling that Chicken Tikka frizzling away on that hot plate bed of onions arriving at our table and the smell wafting through the restaurant. Fond memories. Alas, our pre-theatre meal (set price) never hit the dizzy heights of yesteryears. Although it wasn't bad. My wife ordered the Chicken... More

We purchased a lamb dish and it was a game of "spot the lamb". It was unlike a Boonah dish which is dryer like we had ordered. We contacted them the following day with a polite email to advise. No reply or a acknowledgment of my email. Clearly they couldn't care. We have never ordered again.

First visit ever and we waited a couple of minutes when we entered for someone to come and welcome us and show us to our seats. Our hearts sank as the welcome wasn't the customary approach we're used to from other places and we seriously considered leaving. We decided to remain because the male member of staff was busy and... Food was ok reasonable portions but the best thing about it was the nan bread. Was very good. Rice was horrible orange stuff. Starters were bland. Mains ok but average.

We found this restaurant on trip advisor and as it was convenient decided to try it. The service was friendly and attentive and the food didn't take long to arrive. Poppadoms first though only with one dip. Then The biggest naan bread I have ever seen! Couldn't manage the whole meal. But all tasty with no ill effects.

We have been visiting agra for years now, and each time the service and food doesn't disappoint. I have always found it difficult to find indian food that matches what i tasted whilst travelling in india, but agra is very close. Although some of the dishes aren't the same as what is offered in India the taste and flavours are... More
