WE come here with our wee sausage dog and sit outside in the summer. The scrambled eggs and toast are the best and the eggs are utterly fabulous. Big pot of tea with beautiful mismatched crockery situated in a wee lane off the main road....More

I only just recently heard of Hidden Lane and Tearoom and thought it would be a must on my hit list as I am sick of visiting establishments that insist on playing "music"! Very disappointed as I thought being a tearoom it would be peaceful....More

We've been trying to visit this gem since it was featured on Allan Cummin's secret Galsgow, anyway we caught Glasgow on a surprisingly sunny early May bank holiday on a walk from the Hotel to Kelvin grove. The staff were pleasant and accomodating, the tearooms...More

This place is rather cute, and the staff is inviting. I was super excited for my first official tea in the UK, and this girly gem didn't let me down. I advise walking around the tearoom afterwards, too. The other shops are very colorful and...More

Traveling solo through Glasgow, when I heard about the Hidden Lane Tearoom. After reading reviews and giving the place a call, it was determined that I didn't need a booking and could stop by, especially as I didn't have a large group with me. I...More

We arrived at 5.30PM and were told we could not get high tea anymore as they closed at 6PM. We were very disappointed but stayed anyway as we were hungry. We had peppermint tea (made of fresh leaves) and a scone with clotted cream. They...More

Very well worth a visit. Delusions home baking and coffee, pleasant and helpful staff. A good selection of cakes, tray bakes etc. Recommend parking in Argyle Street and walking into the quaint and cobbled lane.

Enjoyed breakfast here with my boyfriend, it was exactly what we needed when feeling a little jaded from the night before. I had the fluffy pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, they were so good and the bacon is really good quality. My boyfriend had...More

We skipped lunch in lieu of high tea at Hidden Lane. YUM! This was our first proper tea, and we loved it. There were savory sandwiches and well as sweet bites, including scrumptious little Victoria Sandwiches, and much more. The service was very friendly, and...More

Not at all! We have kids in all the time. We do a smaller version of our afternoon tea for little ones which is very popular, you can also swap a cake for fruit salad if you fancy. If you want to come at the weekend or on... More

It is not necessary to book, but we do get very busy at the weekends so we would therefore recommend booking at the weekend. Thanks The Hidden Lane Tearoom

Celebrating all things vintage, The Hidden Lane Tearoom harks back to a bygone era where drinking from the finest china and enjoying High Tea was simply a way of life. Open from 9 - 6, the tearoom is a place to come and enjoy breakfast, bruch, lunch, high tea and early dinner with a range of dishes, loose leaf teas, coffee and delicious home baking to suit all.
