We visited on a Saturday night as a party of 4 to celebrate my father's birthday. We had made a reservation a week in advance (which seems to be a must for a Saturday night) and we were seated quickly when we arrived. Drinks order was taken within minutes and drinks were on the table just as soon after that.... More

First time here and definitely won't be our last. Seen the reviews on trip advisor and because they were so good we decided to walk up and see if we could manage to get a table. When we asked they said no problem and we got a nice table at the window. Speed of service was excellent and we weren't... More

Cannot praise Koolba enough, yet again another fantastic meal, the Persian kebabs for two is to die fir; would recommend this highly. The staff are all very friendly and chatty and make you feel welcome. Just wish we had a Koolba in Aberdeen.

Amaaaaaazing food - my mouth is just watering even thinking about the chicken tikka masala. Spicy, flavorful, so good! Chicken chaat was also amazing - although I was getting chaat with papads and chick peas, this was a pleasant surprise. Probably the best meal of our entire trip.

Reliably good food and service. I go fairly regularly for my favourite dishes. I particularly like the Kerelan Garlic Chilli Chicken. It's spicy but also very fresh. I've tried variants of this dish in different places. This one is by far the best so far! Does a good lunch deal, too.

Last minute decision to go for Indian food with a colleague. Not busy but maybe due to a Tuesday night, which was still a bank holiday in Scotland. No rush to order and plenty of choice. Food on menu very well explained. Poppadoms not as crunchy and a bit soft but ok. Chicken madras nice and spicy with lots of... More

What a fabulous meal.....so wish I lived in Glasgow. I have eaten in many an Indian restaurant throughout the UK, but this has to rate as Number 1. Two hours after dining I am still aware of all the taste sensations. When back in Glasgow next, will make a bee line for KooBa 😍

KoolBa is a warm, modern, and inviting authentic Indian restaurant in Glasgow, located in the heart of the Merchant City. We have worked hard and KoolBa has now become synonymous with quality Indian and Persian cuisine. We have achieved this with our commitment to using the best local produce, fresh herbs, carefully selected whole spices, but above all offering genuine appreciation and care to all of our customers. We are committed to providing freshly made to order dishes to Glasgow's diners. Some customers enjoy switching between our Indian and Persian dishes with each course, and in particular, many of our regular diners recommend our homemade chicken pakora as a firm favourite, along with freshly made peshwari naan. Open for Merchant City Festival from 20/07 Monday Noon till the end of July!
