The warm welcome at KoolBa made a great start to what was a lovely experience. The food was great…the Lamb Karahi was delicious, all the sides were light and tasty, and the wine was ok too! Highly recommended!

This was out first trip to KoolBa and we really enjoyed it. The staff were happy to explain the dishes we weren't sure about even warning me my dinner might be a bit spicy (It was but pleasantly so). They also talked my wife through...her kebabs and what would be best for her. I must also praise the Lamb Chop starter which was excellent.More

Impeccable taste. More towards the pricey ones, Considering the curry doesn’t come with a side. But, good generous portions. Very relaxed and welcoming environment. They do offer dishes with both Persian and Indian flavors. The lady and gentleman that took my order were both knowledgeable...and ready to listen. They did a great job describing and explaining the dishes and advice accordingly. I had the king prawns Punjabi curry with steamed rice. And as described it is a party of flavor. I would sure visit again to taste some other dishes. In my second visit I had a sizzling fish meal. Both dishes are great, but If I would recommend between the two dishes, it would be the prawns Punjabi.More

Went for dinner on Sunday evening restaurant wasn’t busy luckily as we hadn’t booked. We started with spiced onions and pompadoms. And vegetable pakora. The spiced onions were brought straight from the fridge should be served at room temperature. The pakora was over cooked and...hard. We both had chicken dishes and both agreed the chicken was tough and unpleasant the Nan bread was over done. This was my favourite Indian restaurant in Glasgow unfortunately there standards have slipped very badly. The restaurant was cold as well. Big improvements required before l return again. 4 out of 10More

Not the first time I’ve been to Koolba, and i hope it won’t be the last! Excellent 2 course lunch for two people- and lovely service from our waiter, while not being intrusive. Fantastic value and good portions. Like Arnie says- ‘I’ll be back’!

My sister and I visited Glasgow beginning of November 2021. We had walked down Candleriggs Street on our first night and saw “Britains Best Indian Place” and wanted to try it. We went our second night and it was impeccable. Our waitress Sandhana was cute...as a button and the food was so good, that we had to go twice during our 4-night stay in Glasgow. Both spicy and mild foods were incredibly yummy. Really, a must try when in Glasgow!! We will definitely be back.More

The a la Carte was more expensive than other curry restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food was delicious. Three of us had starters, main course with rice and Naan bread and wine plus liqueurs and we were £45... More
