We liked the informal bistro style of this restaurant and were surprised it wasn’t full. We were welcomed by the cheerful and knowledgeable waitress/ manager who knew her way round the compact and fairly priced wine list. The menu was bursting with autumnal ingredients in...imaginative combinations and it was really difficult to choose what to have. Everything we ate was utterly gorgeous with each mouthful revealing another nuance of texture and flavour. The scallops with tiny green apples and incredible smoked lardo were awesome but in the end we agreed the stars of the show were the chicken liver parfait with chanterelles, crispy chicken skin, hazelnuts and black garlic and the halibut with celeriac, chanterelles, sea vegetables, smoked mussels and chicken sauce. What a wonderful experience. No one should visit Glasgow without eating here.More

We brought visiting family here. We have been many times in the past but this was our first after lockdown. Fantastic food-scallops, venison, halibut and pork belly imaginatively and thoughtfully presented. This place punches well above its weight.

Tucked away on the high street is this fantastic little restaurant split across 2 floors. Service is friendly and helpful throughout. Menu choice is relatively limited; however I wanted to try several of the amazing dishes. Bread, butter and oil to begin was great touch...before I enjoyed 3 excellent courses Highly recommend the Ceviche !More

Had a delicious dinner here. Chicken parfait to start and belly pork for main. Both excellent! So good my friend booked a table for her birthday lunch before we left.

My husband and I booked dinner at No. 16 the day after celebrating our elopement. The staff (especially Joel) was extremely attentive, friendly, and went out of their provide us a lovely dinner in honor of our nuptials. No. 16 is a very cosy little...eatery with a warm ambiance-perfect for a romantic dinner out! The food was beautiful and delicious. I chose the ceviche of sea bass to start followed by the filet of red mullet and my husband started with the steak tartare and chose the halibut as for his main. We highly recommend all four dishes! The waitstaff also brought us a side of the nduja potatoes...which were amazing! The portions were perfect (not too much, not too little!). Dessert was lovely as well.More

From the moment we walked into to this restaurant we felt the ambiance - for a Monday evening the atmosphere was buzzy Our waiter Thomas had excellent knowledge of the food & wine and perfect “waitering” skills. Everything we ate from the bread with dipping...oil and Parmesan to the wonderful chocolate dessert were sublime We had sea bream ceviche & miso aubergine to start then venison and red mullet for our mains. Both mains came with some vegetables but we also ordered sides of cauliflower gratin and roast potatoes which were probably the best we’d ever had The house white wine was superb and overall the whole meal offered fantastic value for money for such a great dining experience and we would totally recommend this restaurantMore

This is a very small restaurant, so I would say it isn't wheelchair accessible.

For two people for dinner we paid £135 which included aperitif, wine,(not cheap and limited choice) for two courses with one third course. My wife refused to pay £12 for biscuits and cheese, which seemed pricy. I agree with... More
