Recommended for a casual dinner with family or friends - reliably delicious Italian food and friendly service. The restaurant looks a little tired inside and the courtyard 'outside' has a better atmosphere although it can be noisy.

We went for lunch at the restaurant this weekend and we left feeling really disappointed and quite ill. The starter was very small in comparison to what we usually get and our main meals were disappointing also. We were quite ill after the meal and won't be back.

Ate here recently and enjoyed both the scampi tails in tomato sauce and the trio de pesce. Unfortunately, the mushroom risotto was bland and lacked seasoning. House wine was good and service good too. Unfortunate that the restaurant doesn't do a lunch menu on Saturdays as the result is an expensive lunch.

Birthday dinner on a saturday night. Located in the basement of princes square. Didnt think much of the formica tables and sat next to the up escalator doesnt ooze atmosphere but the food was excellent. Fillet steak was melt in mouth, the toffee sundae to die for. Expensive for where it is. Would be much better suited in an old... More

We were here for a Christmas night out and it didn't disappoint. Even though the restaurant was busy, food was delicious! I would highly recommend the gnocchi - absolutely delightful!

Had a really lovely lunch here yesterday. The service was excellent and the food was lovely. A tad pricey for lunch, but fortunately we had been given a voucher, otherwise it would have been quite expensive. Nothing to complain about, if I return, and it's a cold day I would sit inside, as was a bit on the cold side... More

Visited on a busy Friday night. Booked a table when we wanted it. Well looked after the whole time we were there. Staff ALL very good and very attentive. Lets talk about the food. Our voucher was a glass of Prosecco and Pizza, Pasta or Risotto. I chose a veggie pizza - it was just perfect. My husband had a... More

I went to this restaurant with my daughter & two young granddaughters. We had a voucher which we paid £20 for which gave us two main courses & two very small glasses of prosecco. We were told to choose a dish that did not contain seafood or veal or there was a £3 surcharge. Fair enough we thought until we... More
