Incredible selection of whiskeys with a supremely knowledgeable bar staff who took the time to walk this novice through the ropes. Don’t miss this place when in Glasgow.

If you’re only in Glasgow for a short time and want an authentic experience I cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing whisky selection, cosy atmosphere, efficient and knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices (for food and drink), and tasty scotch pies. Fully deserving of all the awards...and accolades it’s received over the years. If I’m ever back in Glasgow I’ll definitely return here, if nowhere else!More

Every time I visit Glasgow, I make an absolute effort to stop in at least once. This is a great place if you have an interest in whisky. The selection is incredible and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and will take the time to chat,...if possible. Is the place busy? Yes! But, that is to be expected when you stumble across a gem like this. I tend to gravitate to whisky I know, but the staff engaged me in trying something different, that still aligns with my taste. I appreciated the nudge as they weren't wrong. I look forward to my next trip to Glasgow, and subsequently the next time I step foot into this lovely pub!More

We met some friends here on a midweek afternoon for a couple of drinks. It was a nice experience. The choice of whiskeys is amazing! A proper old fashioned pub. We came back for another visit!

Friendly and knowledgable staff. Great little tourist bar to get to understand whiskey better and enjoy a few drams among the locals.

The pub has an extensive choice of malt whiskies and very knowledgeable staff. The beer is quite good too, with 2 cask ales available. Unfortunately, the pub is badly ket down by the food on offer - various pies - which are so badly cooked the...pastry is like armour plating. Best to avoidMore

Really enjoyed trying some whiskies in here on my birthday- they have a massive selection. Love Czech beer so was very pleased to be able to get a bottle of Budvar alongside. The person serving us was very passionate about whisky and taught us a...lot. The only thing I would have changed is that I would have preferred to have a list of whiskies (which we got in another great Glasgow whisky pub) and have time to think about what I wanted. Trying to make a choice in front of a whisky expert when there is so much variety on offer felt a bit less relaxed than I would have preferred. Aside from that an amazing place- great location too.More

I took my boyfriends in for a wee treat. The boys love a whisky, the big guy behind the bar was lovely!! He was so nice, and talked about whisky until my wee head was spinning in circles like that wee girl from the Exorcist....How are we meant to pick from over 10,000 whiskys?? I ended up buying Whyte and Mckayor something. We will come back if there’s a better choice for the people who aren’t too familiar with whisky.More

Normally the Pot Still is busy, so I would suggest contacting them by phone or email firstly. Good luck!

Hi Gillian, I apologise but the pub does not have an accessible toilet and there is a step at the front door that would probably require assistance to get up. We are more than happy to help accommodate you for a visit where... More

The kitchen is manned from 11-5. After that we load the pie warmer and sell what we have in there. It's an outside chance we would still have pies left then. Slainte Mhath, Frank Murphy FBII Proprietor
