Visited on 13 May for a Sunday roast before heading back down to Manchester. Chose this place on spec as it looked crisp from the outside. Once inside, the bar service was spot on: young lad with glasses, very personable and professional, he went to...More

One of my favourite pubs in Glasgow. Always busy and always good quality food and drink. Staff always friendly and helpful. With the World Cup coming up they are planning like many pubs for that. Plenty of matches and a few screens to watch them...More

I went with a group of friends and managed to find a table on a busy Friday night. No idea of the prices as we had a kitty but the drinks were acceptable and spirits were served in nice cut glass tumblers.

We are here on holidays from Australia and stopped in on a Friday with the afterwork crowd. Pub was very busy and bustling and recommended for a cold pint. Mixed crowd of people - overall worth stopping in for a beer or two.

Dropped in and enjoyed the cask ales. Decided on a light snack and opted for the fish finger sandwiches - wow, they were gorgeous - and the chips were fantastic. Definitely worth a visit again.

I'm not sure as not a 'regular' Jill. They do have a big screen which I believe is mostly tuned to sports so it's a possibility. May be best to give them a call.
