A traditional country pub with a warm and welcoming open fire . Bar is open on Friday's from 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 4pm. The PLough is now a drinks only pub, however we will occaisionally have promotions such as Quizzes or Fishy Friday. Kepp an eye on Facebook for upcoming events.

Driving through Star of Glenrothes we saw a sign for Fishy Saturday so decided to stop. It's a quaint village pub that still feels like a real village pub... nice atmosphere and friendly staff. We got fish and chips for £5.95... food was served quickly...More

Used to be one of our favourite places but they no longer do food. They also reduced the opening hours as a result. Was absolutely superb

Me and my girlfriend are just home from our visit at the plough inn, food was amazing, both had homemade mushroom soup which was excellent with fresh bread, main courses were massive and really good quality friendly staff will be back 100%!

Brilliant place for a cracking pint, great atmosphere, ended up having a meal which was tremendous!! Love visiting this place, come a good few times a month, can’t recommend The Plough Inn enough!

Give yourself a treat and have the juniper chicken. The menu is changed regularly, so this is a limited edition. Get in while stocks last.
