It was good and filling. They also have soups and you can combine soup, sandwich and smoothie for a special price. They also do have cakes and... More

This cafe has been the highlight of our trip! The staff are super friendly and so accommodating, I asked for a recipe for Maca nana bowl and she's so sweet to write down everything and gave it me without hesitation 😀. The service is great every time we come in for a meal or a simple takeaway! I only been... More

Before coming to Edinburgh I had heard about this café and knew I had to visit. A semi-small café filled with character and quirks (my favourite the coconut cutlery holders). You can either sit in or take away we decided to sit in. Although very busy the staff found us a table as soon as possible. There is a lot... More

Good food and juices. But the coffee took 30 minutes to get to our table!! 30 minutes!! That's just unacceptable and should never happen. They need to work on speed, efficiency, and communication with staff. We asked our servers several times (as we had to get on a tour) they responded "only on person makes the coffee, you'll get it"... More

Had breakfast at this lovely establishment since i didn't want the normal full meat filled breakfast. I had the fruit salad which was lovely. All the fruit was super fresh and not over ripe. Granola was good and not too sweet. There is also a good selection of non-caffeinated drinks. I had the apple pie hot apple juice drink which... More

We walked past on our way to the grass market and couldn't help but go back! I had a delicious smoothy, the queue was out the door so we could tell how popular it was! Service was fast and friendly!

Stop in Hula for a quick lunch with some friends and we ended staying for a couple of hours. Food is really tasty with plenty of healthy choices. Amazing smoothies, coffees and teas. Very nice staff. We will be back.

Was extremely busy on Saturday, lots of good smoothies, was difficult to choose what to order. Good for vegetarians and for people on healthy eating.

Staying in Old Town

Neighbourhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
