We enjoy eating here and usually do so early evening. The same people have been here for several years.

I went there for the first time for Valentine's day and I wasn't disappointed. Every dish was delicious and I will be definitely coming back there soon. The mango sticky rice was so tasty!

I have lived in Edinburgh for a long time and have struggled to find a good Thai restaurant. Time 4 Thai was suggested as a place to go with a big group of friends, we went in a group of 14 so between us we sampled a decent amount of their fairly sizable menu, and all of it was good,... More

Only tried the Thai red and green curries, but both were lovely. Staff very pleasant. Would go again and would recommend.

Visited here a few times now, its always quiet but the service is very prompt, the food is great, very small spring rolls but theyre great. Main courses are delicious. Its a bit pricey but not too bad, Id eat here again.

Ate here with a group of retired colleagues. We ate from the the lunch menu at £13.50 for 3 courses. All 5 of us had no difficulty in choosing and all were delighted with food which was fresh and clean tasting. The service was polite and unobtrusive. Would not hesitate in recommending and would definitely return.

Another amazing day in Edinburgh is over with an absolutely delicious Thai... including my extra pot of greeeeeen curry! One to definitely come back to again 😋 Friendly staff, fast service (despite our waiting for the table), delicious red curry, chicken with cash nuts and an extra pot of green curry I had. An extra rise and noodles not a... More

A very enjoyable 2 course meal. Whilst we hadn't booked, and the restaurant was very busy, my friend and I were easily accommodated by the waiters. The food was extremely authentic, and the Red Curry is one of the best I have had (be warned that they make it nice and hot). Service was also very good. I will be... More

Myself my husband and two of our friend are here on New Year's Eve. The food was great, and we were able to choose from the a la carte and not just a limited festive menu. I had the chicken and mushroom coconut soup and the Thai beef salad, both excellent dishes (and having cooked the soup a mere month... More

Been before and had booked again. Seemed a bit of confusion on arrival but after a short wait were shown to our table. Service was a bit haphazard on this occasion but food remained excellent - restaurant was busy as usual but did not seem to be coping initially as well as normal. Still well worth a visit and we... Staying in New Town

Neighbourhood Profile
New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town, until after dark when strappy dresses come out to play. This is the city’s central business district with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned Georgian development of regal townhouses, geometric squares, and self-important statues. But it’s also a very wanderable neighbourhood, with a healthy bustle at almost any time of day and fine people-watching in places like St Andrew's Square which fills with picnickers around lunch. You’ll also find a series of cheerful basement bistros on Hanover Street, while dark Rose Street has something of the feel of an undiscovered back alley and is chock-full of characterful pubs and small independent shops.
