Excellent food, traditional Italian type decor and waiters that really are Italian. The selection of food is, to my mind anyway, excellent. It is well presented and well cooked. The portion is very good and the service is fast. I was impressed! My only comment...More

We found this restaurant by chance on a trip to the city. Better looking than a lot of It's neighbors. We had a main course each. I had the homemade lasagne which was very good and my partner had a gluten free pizza. Would loved...More

Saw this place travelling into Edinburgh looked good so booked for the same night. Not disappointed pizzas were light and crispy. Pasta dish was plentiful and tasty. Good service and not rushed. Enjoyable thanks

The atmosphere was great, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. I had the spaghetti carbonara and bruschetta al balsamico, and was thrilled with it. The wait staff, however, was not particularly inviting at first.

Great atmosphere, staff extremely friendly and gentle. Good pizza with excellent Italian ingredients. A real Italian taste in the heart of Edinburgh with a good quality/price ratio. Must try.

Great place for a decent meal in the city centre. Staff welcoming, no rush, all very polished and a great selection off the menu with a 'specials board' too. Had an early evening meal pre a theatre visit (there is an offer on the menu...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
