On a side street in Grass Market, there lies a restaurant with superior dishes and outstanding service. Inside a small doorway and up stairs, is a small place with a lovely Scottish feel. Sitting for lunch by candlelight, I enjoyed a 3 course lunch. Starting...More

Very classic and well cooked food in a unique and cosy setting. Lunch menu incredibly reasonable @£14 for two courses (£16 for three). A taste of Scotland.

Agree with other reviewers here, if you are in a hurry, you may want to go elsewhere. I do, however, think this place is worth a visit. Silvia our waitress was delightful and really knowledgeable. We were looking for a red which would go with...More

Pleasantly surprised by this place. Food was to a very high standard. Scallops cooked perfectly, beautifully tender venison and an oozing chocolate fondant. Service was top notch. Classic decor, very cosy. Highly recommend it.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its

place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
