The one thing I enjoy most about pizza hut is the salad station which is unlimited with every main purchased. However, I found the service rather lacking and the pizza quality has slipped far behind the competition. We visited on a Friday at 4pm when it is still relatively quiet. The waitress was friendly enough but she got our simple... More

Had family meal out while visiting Edinburgh. Had to return son's milkshake as it had a hair in it. Ordered meal (4 pizzas and a portion of chips)...was extremely disappointed that the chips arrived just as we were finishing our pizzas. Questioned waitress why it had taken so long to bring the chips, especially since we had finished eating....she just... More

Went here while on business in Edinburgh. Service good. Not a vast selection of pizzas to choose from but what was there tasted good. If you want to eat out but need somewhere quick, this is a good place to choose.

As a great lover of Pizza Hut and the guarantee that my kids always come out with full bellys this is usually our goto restaurant. we visited here on a xmas trip. What a grumpy bunch of staff. Everything was a bit too much for every member of staff unless it's when it suits them! Food was OK, they don't have ketchup though. Very odd.

I've been to Pizza Hut twice. Pizza is good, especially the one that has vegetables and chili. Salad bar is small and the variety is not so great. More staff is needed for sure. The second time I went there, I waited for 5-10 min to sit on a table (even though there were 3 empty tables) because there was... More

From the peeling furniture to out of order toilets, the friendly staff cannot save this atmospheric vacuum. Surely only people with self loathing go here, or when everywhere else was booked out in our case. Mediocre food for the same price as Pizza Express. If they can do it, why is Pizza Hut so unremittingly dire? 2017 resolution - avoid!

Staying in Old Town

Neighbourhood Profile
Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the royal palace – two of Edinburgh’s great set-piece attractions. But there’s lots more exploring to do here down dozens of little alleys, or wynds, while at night the city’s busiest clubs erupt along the Cowgate which is closed to traffic for this purpose.
