Greeted by a man at the door who should give customer service lessons to others. So pleasant so friendly so keen. Found us a quieter table which was much appreciated. Excellent fish and shellfish menu. No it's not the cheapest but it was excellent quality...More

Lovely ambiance, friendly staff, a difficult food choice, a fabulous meal. What more could you ask for?

We don’t manage to Edinburgh too often but every time we do, we know exactly where we have to eat and it’s here. Once more an amazing meal. Oysters, scallops, steak and langoustine. Cooked to perfection and well looked after. Go here!!

Well maybe not, if your a crustacean! Family visit and was stunned by a great meal. Extravagant seafood platter, perhaps best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and a couple of rib-eyes were wiped to clear plates in no time. Wine and service excellent and...More

I found the restaurant in TA along with other 3 to be the best places to eat in Edinburgh. Others rejected as they were fully booked or at least said this. This restaurant was my last option. The location is close to the Princes Street....More

I had the classic fish and chips. The beer batter was tasty and crunchy. It was great. Also my husband had a great meal. The dessert with the toffee sauce, was extremely tasty. We recommend the place.

This is a great place, I've been numerous times and in a City like Edinburgh where there is too much choice, I think that says a lot about how good it is! Great service, a lovely fish curry, after a Pigeon starter and the whole...More

New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,

I think the cheapest is about £18. Lots below £25. You can get a set menu at lunch so more to spend on wine :-)
