Quirky small little place. Quite a big menu split between sushi and hot Japanese and small Korean selection. Service was friendly if not a little slow. We had pressed eel sushi which was amazing as well as a hot Japanese dish. Normal price for this...More

The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the staff was very nice. We got our order split up in four different parts, which was annoying. We waited a LONG time for the last one to come.. The pieces of fish on the sushi was small...More

A relatively small restaurant with great sushi and friendly, helpful waiting staff. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly. Love their sushi roll and sushimi. I am a regular costumer to the shop, and always bring my friends to them, and it never let me down! If you like sushi as well, you should...More

Their donburi is nothing like anyone one else I ever had. Doesn’t even look like the picture in the menu. Had to order a knife so I can eat it. 2 stars because food from other tables looked nice, there is still hope...

We have been regular customers for a long time. We returned this August during the Fringe and were so disappointed with the lack of freshness of half of the sushi we ordered. It's a busy restaurant so I don't understand how they can have fish...More

This delightful Japanese restaurant offers a range of sushi, sashimi and curries and stews. Portions are generous and it’s prices are very reasonable. They were happy to serve us even close to closing time. Highly recommended.

My husband and I had dinner here during the Fringe. The food was very fresh and the service quick as well as courteous. A treat to find in the heart of Edinburgh!

Visited with children of 5 and 7. Friendly atmosphere. We all enjoyed it - they make very fine fried thick noodles with beef.

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly

that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
