We had breakfast here and really enjoyed it. The food was fresh, the fresh juices and coffee were wonderful, and the service very good. I highly recommend visiting.

Beautiful food! Amazing gluten free choices & the bread is just wow!!!! A must if you’re visiting Edinburgh. We did have to wait about 20 mins for a table but it was well worth it!

We have rarely been inside such a popular restaurant. Seeking a late Friday lunch, Loudons was abuzz with happy customers, continuous queuing, and table turnover. Staff were pleasant, but because of its ultra "busy-ness", service was a bit rushed, e.g. explaining specials at our table...More

Bright airy spot that does a great selection for breakfast reminiscent of a classic American diner with a Scotch twist. There’s a full cooked breakfast, granola, porridge and Eggs Benedict. Decent punchy coffee. Even lovely American pancakes and maple syrup. Newspapers too!More

Only went in for breakfast and did not consider a beer, sorry I cannot answer your question. I can only assume that if it is on their menu, they will serve beer as long as it is within the licensing hours.

Description
We are an independent family run and family friendly cafe and bakery. Freshly made is our hallmark....everything is made daily including soups, salads, quiches, pizza, bread and cakes.
Uncompromising in our coffee beans supplied by Artisan Roast and our loose leaf teas from Pekoe Tea.

We serve up one of the best breakfasts and all day Weekend brunches in town and are famed for our Eggs Benny.

We feel that customers with food intolerances should not have to put up with bland choices and pride ourselves in creating interesting and tasty cakes, bread, soups etc. that can be enjoyed by vegans, vegetarians and coeliacs alike.
