I like to come here at the weekend for my breakfast but today was not great for me. The food was fine, as usual. I don’t agree with dogs around me when I’m eating and especially when they’re off-lead !!! There were three dogs in...More

Topped and tailed our visit to Edinburgh with a visit here for brunch. Recommended by our accommodation host and she was spot on. On first visit I had bacon roll and DH had breakfast quiche. Both delicious. Followed this with a Pain au Raisin between...More

I live very near this little cafe, but have only recently started to visit it. The ambiance is very good and we like the fact that it is dog-friendly, especially as dog-owners are often very friendly too. Have just come back from a light lunch...More

It can be difficult to find a reasonably priced restaurant in Stockbridge but we thankfully found this place. It is a charming little cafe with outdoor seating and great ambience. It is perfect for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The first day we went I got...More

First time here and and not disappointed. Nice friendly staff who came and took our order, was served promptly and the food was delicious and very good value for money . Also pleased to see it is dog friendly.

Worth booking as it gets very busy. We were lucky as we took a table which had been reserved but was a no-show. The pastries were excellent. Would highly recommend if you are close.

Review based on a quick drop in for a takeaway coffee for my husband who proceeded to rave about it, far superior to any chain coffee house. The cafe felt warm and cozy, wished we could have stayed longer.

Ordered salmon and dill quiche. This was a quiche inside a scotch pie case! Unusual to say the least, but unfortunately also very greasy and unpleasant. I gave two stars because coffee was very nice!

Went in for a quick Sunday brunch. Service was fast and portions were large. I couldn’t finish my bagel and my friend barely finished his club sandwich. Good value for money. Bagel was good, can’t ever go wrong with a scrambled egg bagel!

New Town
Suits and shopping bags rule the streets of New Town,
until after dark when strappy dresses come out to

with its smaller offices, clothes boutiques, and many
of the city’s flashiest restaurants and ritziest
clubs. The architecture along roads like George Street
helps give it a swank and formal feel: it’s a planned
