Each night I chose to eat fish, which was very good. Well presented, hot and tasty, with pleasant service

Overall I was very impressed with the restaurant. The staff were very friendly and polite. I associated the Braids with simple meaty food so I was pleasantly surprised to discover they had a vegan and vegetarian menu. I am a simple eater so went for my all time favourite a burger. It was good. cant say more than that, Breakfast was OK bacon and sausages could have done with a few more minutes under the grill..

Excellent for dinner, wonderful regional dishes, artfully prepared. the selections included venison, pork, beef, and fish. All were nicely put together with well varied accompaniments. The waiter had no idea what the soup of the day was nor the daily specials. We ordered a bottle of... More
service was excellent and cheerful, good choice and value. Food was tasty and well cooked, although the rib eye seteak was a little dry due to having bone removed
