If you are a true Conan Doyle fan like me, just take a photo from outside. Don't bother going inside the pub! We came all the way from Canada to visit this pub and it was so disappointing! The staff was terrible, terrible! We stood...More

Great pub food. Many selections but could't walk out without trying the meat pie. It was terrific. The atmosphere in the place is wonderful as well. Nicely decorated. Bar area and dining area are connected, yet distinct enough. Food great. Service great. Highly recommend. Side...More

Small, unassuming bar with a good range of ales. There is also excellent food to be had in a separate dining area, served by very attentive staff. This should be on your list to do when in Edinburgh. About ten minutes walk from Waverly railway...More

Onion rings were crispy, mac and cheese tasty. Chips need some seasoning and beer battered fish was fatty, excessively battered.

Wow 3 pounds for 15 chips...literally! A small bottle of cider 4.60 are you joking?! Staff looked tired and not sure about what they were doing...the place is nice, a cozy little pub but that's all it is. Will never go again.
