Excellent customer service - especially from the American (I think?) bartender. The food was also good as well as the atmosphere. We would recommend The Tron to others who are thinking of a nice evening drink.

Really great visit. It was quiet when we arrived, shortly before 1pm, so wasn’t sure if it was going to be a popular choice, but it slowly filled up with tourists and a couple of locals. We sat on top floor, at street level, but...More

It had been years since I’d been to The Tron. It always struck me as a place that found it hard to shake off its reputation. Due to the prices it used to attract either students or bargain boozers or both! It is far better...More

Went in on a Monday night because a local gentleman recommended it and weren’t disappointed! The staff was very friendly and gave some more great recommendations, and we ended up staying much later than expected because it was live trivia night. A lot of college...More

This area of Edinburgh is the last light of liveliness on the Royal Mile when the fringe is long since off. The Tron is a great little place. Nothing fancy on tap, but it's got character and doesn't feel too touristy.

There is a large range of food selections which is great. Had a pizza, not enough cheese! Drinks are a good price and there is such a wide selection to choose from you are spoilt for choice!

Popped in here for a quick drink, nothing fancy dancy about it. Was quite busy, I think there is a downstairs but I didn’t go down there. It was a tad chilly!!

Thanks for taking the time to review us Suzanne, Sorry to hear your experience wasn't a five star one but we'd love for you to come back to give us the opportunity to improve your opinion, downstairs is where you'll find the fancy dancy!

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly

the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal

Description
Large 3 level pub in the centre of Edinburgh. We have some of the cheapest drink selections in town so we are very popular with students and backpackers. Traditional pub food served at brilliantly low prices. We are not affiliated with the venue known as the Tron Kirk.
