Stopped by with a friend after work and got to enjoy a really delicious slice of carrot cake and good quality coffee in this cosy little place. Very welcoming and home-like ambient.

My favorite place for breakfast or a brunch. Their cakes and treats are the very best in Edinburgh. They know also to make a perfect cappuccino and a real good espresso Italian style. Happiness for me is a brownie and baked cheesecake cake and an espresso!

I pass this wonderful place on my way to work every morning. Hard to resist the delicious cakes, coffee, and savoury treats. The Hazelnut Opera this week was exceptionally delicious! Lunch time is also a treat, with delicious filled sandwiches: I had the spiced bean and tomato and avocado salsa roll. Fresh and tasty. A friendly welcoming wee place with... More

This bakery probably owes its customer loyalty to the gentrification of the area. The staff vary from very helpful to thick as two short posts. The bread is very good, but the sweets are very expensive.

Dear 'liketoeat2017', Thank you for this exquisitely written, insightful review that assesses and remarks on the intelligence levels of our staff members. We are in awe of your evidently superior intellect and wit! We do, however, disagree with your assessment of our staff, individuals whom never fail to impress us with their perspicacity, talent and brilliance. We therefore find your... More

We were recommended this and we were NOT disappointed! I have a lot of dietary requirements and the staff were very helpful ensuring I could eat the meal. The salads were top notch and my husband had one of the best sandwiches he has ever tasted....the bread was fantastic!!

Great place for breakfast or lunch or just coffee and cake. We had toasted banana bread and it was delicious. Their breads are amazing too.

My friend and I had the cheesecake brownie & cinnamon bun as suggested by a lovely girl at the counter . The cheesecake brownie was remarkably wonderful, and the ambience was nice. There was a good range of baked cakes, breads also opera cakes, but they're quite expensive.

Amazing quality of baked goods and breads. We ate brunch and although the menu is small for brunch options the ones on offer are delicious. The cakes - WOW. They are so pretty and the only place i've seen cakes of a similar standard was on the tv on baking shows or in cook books. It is a cosy little... More

Open since 2005, The Manna House is a local craft bakery and patisserie with a small cafe so you can enjoy our sweets and savories to eat in. We bake fresh bread everyday Monday to Saturday – producing everything from white bloomers, multigrain loaves and wholemeal harvesters to more unusual bread like rye & caraway or black olive sourdough. We specialize in fine French patisserie and can make wonderful celebration cakes to order - our carrot cakes, chocolate brownies and blueberry bundts all have a big following.Franco our savory chef makes fresh salads and tasty treats everyday to sit in or to take away with quiches, fresh pizza and pies among our favorites.
