Friendly, genuine neighborhood steakhouse a little outside the center of Edinburgh. If you've gotten used to dining in places that seem to mainly cater to tourists this is a refreshing change. Service was friendly but a little slow to notice when we needed something. Beer...More

If you enjoy steak, I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Reasonably priced for this quality of steak. I honestly don't remember a better steak than the Rib-eye I ate last night. Very friendly staff too. Owned by local butchers. Wow!

Ambience terrible. Interior similar to a service station. Sat by the toilet and asked to move but our request was declined. Sub Wetherspoons food for three times the price. No idea how this 'restaurant' has such good reviews. Very basic, uninspiring food. One positive, staff...More

Absolutely phenomenal meals. We had the 3 course set meal and couldn’t fault it. Service was really amazing. The steak and chicken was incredible. Absolutely melted in your mouth full of flavour.

Having booked on-line and received confirmatory email, we received the least welcoming reception we have ever experienced. Head chef and manageress looked at us and treated us as if we were from Mars. Nil Points! Food however was superb

The meals are well prepared and large portions. Nice place to have dinner with friends or family. When in EDI it's worth a visit (West End)

West End
Prevailing winds meant that most cities that grew in
industrial Britain had their most desirable
neighbourhoods to the west – upwind of factory fumes.
Edinburgh was no exception, with its wealthiest
citizens settling in its West End and leaving behind
grand Georgian townhouses, private gardens and genteel
crescents. These backstreets remain as dignified and
sleepy as ever, and most of the action here lies along
