Excellent sandwiches in a variety of breads to choose from. And real, genuinely friendly people behind the counter. Lovely place too.

Popped in before catching train and so glad I did. Delicious bowl of beautifully flavoured soup which for me is always an indicator of good food. Delightful service. Menu thoughtfully prepared. It’s ‘underneath the arches’ so a little compact. I shall remember & revisit.

This has several good healthy veggie and vegan options. I recommend the Kimcheese sandwich. The staff are very friendly and the bread is fresh. Better than a Boots meal deal.

Great little sandwich shop in Edinburgh. Delicious desserts and coffee along with great sandwiches! They do a nice spin on a “banh mi” sandwich that my wife really loved. When we are back in town we will stop by for sure. Cheers from California!

On both trips I've taken to Edinburgh I've stopped in for a tea. Both times the service was great and the two people were very nice. I will go again when I get back to Edinburgh for my next visit.

Went here for a wee change. I won't be back. Ordered the Big Muffaletta, and am now sitting with a revolting taste in my mouth and a sore stomache. I asked for tomato and rocket to be added and got neither resulting in a dry...More

Old Town
Few Edinburghers live in the Old Town, but its
labyrinth of dank alleys and steep streets suggests
this was not always the case. Today, it’s mostly
visitors, tartan-flavoured souvenir shops, and pipers
that you’ll find on its cobbled streets. This is the
place to get a feel for Auld Reekie (Old Smelly), as
the town was once nicknamed, and stroll the Royal
Mile, the thoroughfare that links the castle with the
