So to be honest, I chose this place coz I’m a sucker for the Scottish use of the word “wee”, but this place won me over in all regards. It’s a cozy small size venue with nice decor, but not too fancy. Most impressive was...More

We met up with friends here, all hoping for good food in a relaxed atmosphere- we were not disappointed. The scallops were really delicious, and the steak and chips exactly what we liked...the turbot and linguine was another good choice. The house champagne which accompanied...More

I have to confess that Tripadvisor isn’t my preferred restaurant guide. I take more notice of “professional reviewers”, who on the whole are more even-handed. Tripadvisor attracts too many bampots with an inflated sense of entitlement. This particular “entitled bampot”, (that being me), does read...More

Excellent food, surroundings and efficient service. However, sadly made to feel we were on a conveyor belt and that turning the table was ALL important. Dining with my husband and my 92 year old mother who has dementia whilst on a short break in Edinburgh,...More

Thank you for reviewing your experience at the Wee Restaurant. You did approach me at the end of your meal as you were leaving and were fairly aggressive telling me your thoughts of being advised your table was required back on more than one occasion....More

We absolutely loved our time at the Wee Restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent as well. We ordered from the a la carte menu and were all happy with all of our choices. Highly recommend for a nice meal.

Very relaxing restaurant with attentive wait staff and a very interesting menu that provided great value. The restaurant seems to have a regular clientele who enjoy a quite small but interesting menu. I would check the menu on-line before reserving, but presentation and preparation were...More

A warm welcome from the staff in the restaurant, and the restaurant had a cosy atmosphere. The menu was limited, but the food served was cooked to a high a standard.

We visited with friends who knew this place, for Sunday lunch. We were a little unsure this would suit us but we were wrong - the meal was amazing, by far the best food we've had in a while, whilst not being over facing. Our...More

Probably on the day if not a big nil number of people and you didn't mind what time. Otherwise I'd give it a week or two in advance just to make sure. Thanks Vikki
