Our family were at the Brasserie to celebrate a birthday on Sunday 15th. We were a large party of about 18 so we're in large room attached to brasserie. This unfortunately meant that it appeared we were forgotten about whilst other diners were served. On arrival I had to ask twice for drinks while waiting for the rest of the... More

I had a business / social lunch here and thought it was excellent. The food was high quality and the service was great. There were four of us in the group and I didn't hear a single word apart from how excellent the food was. The service was very attentive without being intrusive. I liked it was well because it... I was a guest in the Norton House Spa & Hotel and was expecting the usual OK dinner in their main dinning room. To my delight this was not the case. Both dinners I had in this comfortable restaurant were exceptional. I certainly would recommend having dinner here even if you are not going to stay in the hotel.

First visit to the Brasserie at The Norton. We had a relaxing drink in the bar first. Then an excellent meal in restaurant. The prices are on the steep side for location but the food standard was very high. Very well presented, and I mean very well. Looked fantastic. Our waiter was tremendous too. Very well trained. A nice Christmas... More

The hotel is set in parkland,so the approach makes one feel grand ! The Brasserie is off the main lobby and is a pleasant conservatory area, somewhere nice to sit for a snack lunch. The menu is attractive (Australian chips anyone ? !) And not too predictable. The staff are cheerful and attentive, the prices reasonable, £20 for main, desert and coffees.

So a long drive after a long conference and we were more than ready for a spa trip followed by a great meal and this was a great meal. High quality food at good prices for what we got. Wide choice on the menu, quality meats and fish, vegetable and salads so fresh you'd hardly think they had travelled more... More

I had a starter and main course and both were excellent. On the servers recommendation I had fish & chips as my main course as it's one of their specialities and it was excellent (I love my fish and chips so a high bar to get over). The starter was also great, too full for pudding. Breakfast in the Brasserie... More

My husband & I have eaten here at least half a dozen times over the past 18 months and usually this is a foolproof dining experience. However, our lunch on Friday left a lot to be desired, and I'm afraid we won't be rushing back. Firstly, only two other tables were occupied in the entire restaurant, which is somewhat unusual...
