Been here a few times for the best coffee in Moffat. Scones, cakes and tray bakes a bit expensive but of top quality like the coffee. Service is very good and the cafe is always busy, surely a good sign. Light meals are also available and I can recommend the bacon rolls. When in Moffat we always visit, even if... More

Great coffee - tasty cakes - very friendly service - recommended. Only a quick stop for coffees and snacks but were made welcome and served quickly.

We stopped here on our way from Scotland to Blackpool. Hubby and I had the small soup and half sandwich and it was delicious. Lovely coffee and reasonably priced. Would definitely go back 😁

This wee cafe is full of surprises. The food is so fresh, home made and adventurous. Take a look at the photographs of our salads, they are full of unexpected pieces of fruit and items of food that you wouldn't imagine putting in a salad, but they are the best salads I have ever eaten. We love going to this... More

We came here after reading the reviews on TA. Very friendly and attentive staff. Quick service and clean surroundings - toilets were spotless. My wife is vegan and the adjusted the focaccia lunch accordingly without any fuss. I had the tomato and chorizo soup which was really good - and hot! Total cost for green tea, latte soup and two... Over a few years we have called in to the Ariete a number of times travelling up to Glasgow. It is 3 mins from the M6 motorway and SO much better than the motorway services. This visit we were going to Edinburgh airport and called in for breakfast, all cooked fresh including Lorne sausage, Haggis, sausage, bacon, egg, mushrooms, scone,... More

No trip to Moffat is complete without a visit to this cafe. Food is perfect. Atmosphere perfect. Service perfect. The South African girl who served us was really helpful and had good banter. 10/10 would visit again

Not been for a long time so decided to revisit. Lovely coffee & great selection of hot food or snacks. Cheese scone was delicious. Highly recommend if In Moffat. Noticed there were gluten free options.

We popped in mid morning for a coffee and gave in to temptation and ordered a cheese and a fruit scone, both were good and had lots of flavour particularly the cheese scone. Very busy café, friendly helpful staff. We'll definitely be back possibly for lunch next time. N.B. word of warning when visiting Moffat avoid the singing potter😨.
