It's maybe better during the week when they have an actual menu with an actual chef but I wasnt impressed at all with the Sunday carvery. The Sunday carvery wasn't even edible in the slightest! The... More

My family and I usually visit an elderly relative in Hawick each year and as the staff are always very welcoming have lunch here. Three of us had Broccoli and Cheese soup as starters and mine was decidedly 'cool' - but as our elderly guest was paying I said nothing - our main courses however were all excellent. A party... Greeted by lovely staff meant a great start to our night out for a birthday tea. Starters could not be faulted at all. Main meals where also flawless. £17 a head for 2 courses of quality food and 2 drinks is great. All in all a lovely evening
