Ate on Saturday night and the meal was not only good value but delicious, shared seafood starter was fantastic and Haddock and Steak to follow super. It’s a must.

Nice food in a nice pub. We had nachos which were good but we’ve had better eg could have had more salsa and the cheese could have been melted more. Then we both had lamb shank- very tasty, dropped off the bone. Could have been...more veg with it. Would return- was good value and staff were very friendly with our dog.More

Visiting here last night 14-6-21 Food was great but the staff on the other hand. The male who was on was running about mad while the young girl just walked about with a face like thunder. When we asked the girl for more drinks she...was rude about this. Telling people they needed to have a mask on when told they were exempt she asked to see proof of this (which she can’t do) Another member of staff came on who was heavily pregnant who was amazing bless she looked like she was struggling still working but her service was amazing along with the male staff member.More

We went into this bar 3 times during our stay in Oban. The staff were friendly and the food was excellent. We met the chef Alistair who had recently started working there and gets the food from local sources. The scallops were excellent & also...the mussels. Would recommend a visit there.More

Home cooked, friendly, non- pretentious, very good all round. My wife and I went here, 6pm had to book and lucky we did as it quickly got full. My wife is vegan and the chef did a bespoke hot spicy salsa to go with the...vegan haggis Bon-bons which were huge but also v tasty. She said the vegan beef burger was delicious too.I had mackerel pate which was lovely, haddock and chips too. If you like wholesome, simple Scottish food done very well, in a friendly atmosphere we would highly recommend. A number of vegan options on the menu but didn’t appear to be paying just lip-service. Genuinely shout out to vegans to visit. Stuffed and happy :-)More

Two of us had burgers which were burnt and barely warm. I had a chicken twister the chicken was nearly cold and there was more red onion that anything else. The lady who waited on us was not at all friendly. The best thing about...this visit is when we left. Fairly expensive too.More

Please wrap up warm if you plan to visit this pub. I asked if the heating was broken and the waitress was unsure what to to say so she simply shakes her head. The Cullen skink was just fish in cream no potato no real...flavour. The macaroni was thick and gloopy. Asked for water which never came.More
