Went in post-lunch to watch rugby. Wasn't great. Standard beer and spirit offering. Relatively expensive. However, a guy who'd obviously enjoyed the morning/afternoon a bit much was sprawled out on the couches in the bar. The barman was aware of this and ignored it. Shocking. Certainly wouldn't recommend.

A pleasant dining room and a good choice on the menu however £9.95 for three small langoustines and a small roll was a tad steep although very tasty. Staff attentive to a very large customer base. We would visit again.

Not much to say about this place really. We ate lunch a couple of times during our stay in Inveraray and it was fairly average fare. Uninspiring menu, with a number of items way over priced. We where booked into the George for dinner so we opted for soup and sandwices the first time and the next day, we shared... More

We got there just in time to beat a bus tour and were surprisingly glad they didn't have scones so we ended up getting fish and chips for me (really large enough for two) and a fresh salad for my daughter. I'd definitely want to go back again. The staff was very good at understanding everyone's accent which amazed me.

Nice friendly reception on arrival, my room was very pleasant clean and warm. I enjoyed a very good bar meal, hot and fresh, in the clean fresh bar area with attentive staff. Most enjoyable. Except that at breakfast we were waiting on the hot food being replenished, and as I needed to be elsewhere, I missed out on a hot... More

Popped in for Sunday lunch menu stated it came with Yorkshire Pudding. The meal was pretty average the Yorkshire Pudding was something else, being a Yorkshire lass I know what I'm talking about. Shame on the Chef. If he/she needs a lesson on how to make them I would gladly give them a lesson next time I'm near there.

We popped in on a Friday night hoping to get a table which was no problem as it was off season. We had looked at the menu online and were pleased to find it was exactly what was being offered that night. The food was lovely and just the right size portions. The service was also quick. Would definitely go... More
