We drive through Inveraray all the time, and it's roughly half-way in our 3-HR drive to the west coast. Some friends of ours recommended Ban Diuc (they sometimes pick up a takeaway) so we stopped a few months ago. We had poppadoms and two main courses (one chicken, one prawn) with rice and a garlic nan. The food was excellent... More

We went back here a few weeks ago with one of our friends who loves curries. He had to concede that the curry he got was the best he had ever tasted. I had the fish pakora which was lovely, Andrew had the mixed pakora and Malcy had the sheek kabab. I tried the Chasni for the first time which... More

While on holiday with family we had a lovely meal here. Food was tasty and hot. No issues with the children or baby. Even with heating up baby's food. Waitress (Australian) was lovely. Defiantly recommend.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Amazing, tasty food though portions could be slightly more generous. Would definitely recommend.

Greeted by very friendly staff. Large room which was in need of some TLC. Lights very bright and I would recommend reducing by atleast 25% to improve atmosphere. Very few customers in however unsure if that's just the time of year. Locals did call in to collect their takeaways. Food was tasty and portion size was fine for me and... More

My wife and I have just had a Friday evening meal here. Very friendly staff , quiet due to being out of season. Cobra beer on draught 😀. Food was very nice with decent size portions. Enough choice for most tastes. Only small issue was that the restaurant was too well lit which we found unusual for an Indian but... More

Good flavour and friendly service but the portions were on the small side with only about 5 portions of chicken tikka on both our mains. Starters of mixed pakora was good but a bit pricey at £6.45, plain vegetable pakora was not on the menu but the staff provided that at my wife's request and her balti and my Jalfresi... More

We stayed in Inveraray for a week and visited this restaurant twice it was so good. On the first visit we had starters of fish pakora, which had really good crisp light batter and was served with a hot sweet chilli sauce, and prawn puri, prawns in a delicious sauce in a freshly cooked puri. We ordered mains of lamb... More
