Great spot to stop on the road, stretch your legs walking down to the hillside overlooking the castle and then sit inside with a wonderful view, tasty food adn a hot beveridge.Friendly staff. Only downside was the toilets need sorting.

Have marked it down as a pit stop next time I'm in this neck of the woods.Lovely place and they had a very nice exhibition... More

Was herestablished a few months ago with my family after visiting the riding centre and we booked a table and place was very warm and welcoming atmosphere from all the staff. The views of the castle was stunning and it was just a perfect end of the day. Hope to see you all again next year

Food was fresh, tasty and served with a smile at a reasonable cost. The café was extremely clean (including the toilets). Would recommend that you stop here for as well as the good food there are super views of the castle.

Lovely little find this, Separate parking for motorcycles and plenty of room for motorhomes round the back too. Interesting gift shop with some really well thought out items inside from local artists etc. Cafe was busy but finding a seat with a great view was easy enough. Food quality was excellent and served efficiently. A must stop location if you... More

The tuna in the sandwich was mushed to a paste. The bread was dense as concrete and dry as cardboard. The sandwich was served with exactly 5 crisps. The finishing touch was a "special" melted "milk shake" at room temperature. The view is nice.

Wow what a horrible review from clearly quite a bitter person, and interesting you don't reveal your identity on Tripadvisor (silly pseudonym by the way). Also interesting you visited Scotland (and Appin!) around this time in 2014. But I digress. You will see from the majority of our reviews that we have a reputable business and offer our customers a... More

Panoramic views, home-made fayre and great coffee. We use the best of Scottish suppliers to prepare freshly-made breakfast, brunch, lunch and home-baking. Our shop stocks a great range of books, cards, jewellery and unusual gifts.
