From the quick service to main meals everything was fantastic. Loved the fish with mushy peas and chips was so fresh. Atmosphere was good and staff were knowledgable and proffessional. A great place to go as a family and will definately be back in.

Just popped in for a drink when down for the weekend at the end of April with my husband , while my son and his friend went to the indoor fair. Got chatting to a lovely lady sitting across from us on the very comfy sofas. Jane was her name, she worked in the Old Boatyard. She was just going off... More

Unable to review earlier as last review for old boatyard was less than a month ago. As usual couldn't fault the quality of the food and the attentiveness of all the staff the ABBA tribute band were excellent all in all a great night out.

Went for a meal in the old boatyard restaurant. We ordered our food and kept noticing people who had come in after us were getting their food. After a hour we decided to ask why our order hadn't arrived and was told they had lost our order. We left in disgust won't be going back there again

Popped into Arbroath for a day out / drive on a glorious spring day. Visited the harbour and was hungry so had lunch nearby. A soon as we walked in, we got a great feeling, the 4 sofas and table created a cosy atmosphere. The place was busy, waiters were good, service ok, food good. It's a little gem, hidden... More

It was our Anniversary end of March and my husband had booked a table for lunch at The Old Boatyard. We had a table at one of the windows which is right beside the harbour so it was lovely watching the boats coming in. We didn't have a starter so after looking at the menu I decided to have the... Some imaginative fish dishes, but standard plates consistently well handled. Service continues to improve in spite of continued increase in popularity and consequent custom. Good wine selection.

Nice area to visit and right at the edge of the harbour. Food was nicely prepared and presented. A tad expensive as most restaurants are in Scotland. Asked one of the staff if a childes fixed meal could be changed and she never came back with an answer. Other than that reasonable service.

Thank john h
